I have heard several mixed things but when it comes to expecting the best I only want the best.

What do you prefer to use when replacing water?

Tap?

bottled?

Distilled?

I was actually looking into using bottled water like the fiji water since they say its natural artesian water supply.

I use distilled water, but will be buying a reverse osmosis filter for next grow.. Im growing hydro so the weekly trips to the store for gallon upon gallon of distilled water..

If you are growing soil I supose that fiji wouldnt get to expensive but if you are going hydro that shit will get to be hella expensive...

thanks yea fiji water would be expensive in a hydro application. If only I had the money and the law on my side I could do a experiment to see what results would happen.

Someone said they seen great results using fiji water over distilled. I dont know if it is true or not...

the only person I know of here that used fiji didnt have great results, I dont think that had anything to do with his water though... but to tell you the truth I dont think the there are enough pros to using fiji over distilled... with distilled the ppm is none and the ph is very easy to get to a suitable reading..

my tap water sucks. my girls couldn't handle it at all when they are young. they can tolerate some tap water now as adults. otherwise I have to use RO DI H2O only.

RO = reverse osmosis where i live i got ph 8.0 and 50ppm at about 65 deg. F... which seems pretty good after the nutes have been added they seem to do fine, i keep the ph from about 5.8 - 6.0

ok next question: can anyone tell me the dfference between RO water and distilled water in our application? i mean, i know the difference between RO and distilled, but which is better and why for our use?

I have 5, 5 gallon water containers that i have to fill up once a week =(
But whatever makes my ladies happy right? heh

hey cali, are u using hydrogaurd with your tap water? it works and is a little easier than filling up ponce a week...
