Ahhh, you silly man you! You bought that expensive setup and don't even know what to do - LOL!

First off, I wouldn't use that HPS on your seedlings, maybe a MH, but not the HPS. Go get you some Fox Farms organic soil and start your germed seeds in that soil. I like to start my seeds off in 16 oz cups, then transplant in about 2-3 weeks to their final pot. I'd use at least 3.5 gallon pots for your babies.

Also, go buy a PH kit, temp/humidity gauge, some fans, and possibly a humidifier. I think you need to read the GROW FAQ as well, doesn't sound like you have done much research. You will find that a lot people here will not hold your hand all the way though this unless you actually attempt to do a little research first.

Get some Supersoil,ExpertGro(Walmart),Fox Farms Ocean...etc,get a bag of manure or worm casing..etc,some perlite or vermiculite, peat moss. Then get a jar and put distilled water in it with a little phosphorous and add seeds overnight. In the morning get jar and any seeds on the bottom of jar plant those only. Use 5-7 gallon pots until harvest. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

5 to 7 gallon pots? Don't you think that is a bit excessive? Maybe if you were working with 100 percent sativa. 3-3.5 gallon pots are good enough to sustain a plants life for 3.5-4 months. Plus those bigger pots tend to take up a lot of space. But hey, to each their own.

You're right, but He didn't say what strain he was growing either. I always use that size so that I can get a deeper tap root, plus it's good for him because he has room to mess up if so. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!
