What 'ORIGINAL' things do you do to your growing plants

With my first grows back in the 1970's
I used to leave the dish under the plant full with water...
thats a big no-no, each time I did it,
I had to buy a meal for my mentor,....
times were tough

I was also guilty of root binding the plants in pots way too small,
to this day I too nag, as did my mentor..

1 us gallon of soil the plant is with you, 90 day grow = 3 us gallon

Above all my greatest 'sin' was not understanding Kelvin correctly,
and the importance of interior lights
re- 2700k and 6500k for correct internodel spacing ...

Some 'things' I did right...but only by luck,
like using my urine on vegging plants, 1x teaspoon per 1x us gallon
to great effect, also decomposing menstrual pads,
if available are a great source of (N)

But the toughest without doubt was getting hold of my first HIDS light
that was a very expensive, and dangerous affair,
with much blood lost, on both sides,
it was a 400wMh over a basketball court run by a nasty black gang
that really liked the light, ...
we won at great loss, at the time the light was worth $1500,
so the blood loss was justified ...

so whats your story..?

Whale bull sperm is popular in Australia and other strange places,
its got its own name and is worth
fucking big bucks, more than cocaine per gram
it is often washed up on those Aussie beaches
and sold in Japan for $$$$$$

You mean like Jesse Pinkman's "chili meth"? I prefer to follow in the footsteps of Heisenberg... Stick to the science and produce the best, purest product you can.

I put a small drop of Dawn dishwater detergent into each gallon of nute-water I make up. It makes the water spread out better and that helps hydrate the plants. Just make sure you don't get the Dawn with the anti-bacterial feature. You want the one that does not say anti-bacteria.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Do you mean the original blue dawn? I buy sticker/spreader from the feed and farm supply but we use the regular blue dawn in the kitchen. The other day I needed some surfactant but I was out and the feed store was closed. I almost used the dawn but I wasn't sure....

I have a radio in my grow room playing 24/7... under the theory that music/voices speaking will stimulate growth. I have no idea if it works or not, but I don't mind a little music while I'm working in there anyway. It is currently tuned to a Christmas music station :)
