What should I do to fix my HACKED plant?

How do I fix this hack job someone did on my plant? They snatched the main cola! Mother $@*%. I still have about 3 to 4 weeks left to finish. Here are some close up pics of their handy work. Should I leave it as it is, or should I trim the main stem down to the next set of buds? Here are before and after pics. Whats Best? First pic from before, they cut it right where the bud in the middle is. Basicly they took the top 8 to 9 inches. Help me fix her.

that sucks, no advice to give. I bet they come back for the rest in 3-4 days.

Just read on your other thread that you know who it was, so they probably won't come back. I hope you can salvage a decent amount when you do harvest.

For the good news, the small nugs will grow much bigger even topping it at this late stage as you still have a few weeks to go..Gotta watch out they dont return and do it again or take the whole plant.

Yea, dog is out 24/7 now and have video watching it just in case someone else tries to do this again. The guy who did this will NOT be back. I will be taking care of him tonight. Just sucks I lost my main cola. Its the picture in my avitar, in case you are wondering what it looked like when they took it. So should I top it so Its a clean cut or just let it go how it is?

Just let it go it will heal itself.

I'd get one of those deer hunting cameras that take pictures on movement and hide it and find out who's in your shit, but thats me...

Alright, I just got home. I really appreciate the replies. I got the whole story. My neighbor had a friend over and showed him the plant. Thats that. I have to move it now. My neighbor felt guilty enough to set up a "date" for us Saturday night. Ill take car of him then. No chance of cops getting called around here, all of my neighbors have their own plants. I had the only sativa though. So now I ask; anyone know how big the root ball is for this plant? And is it feasible to leave it outside during the day and bring it in at night? Its been an outdoor plant its whole life and the temp difference between in and out is nill. Humidity is another story, inside is nill and outside is sky high (subtropic zone). Here are some pics of its size before it was accosted. (I cant wait till Sat night.) The second pic is a close up from last week. The last pic I took of her.
