Regionally formulated: contains Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, coconut fiber, earthworm castings, pumice, dolomite lime, and an organic wetting agent

A wonderful product for hanging baskets, container planting, or high-heat planting areas. Ready to use straight from the bag, no breaking up coir bales. This product provides excellent water retention and re-wettability. A wonderful product for low water or drought plagued areas.

And need a nutrients program for feeding my plants that hopefully does not require any flushing. I will be growing in square pots with rocks at the bottom for drainage and that soil. I have General Hydroponics Flora, Floranova, and Koolbloom but understand there are probably much better things to use in a coco environment so I am considering Canna Coco nutrients, Bio Bizz, Ionic, CNS17, Humboldt Nutrients, Fox Farms, to list off some of the available brands in my area.

You should definetly use at least one plant per container. If I were you I would throw it out and replace it with Foxfarm Ocean Forest.

dat,

lucas formula is not what I am looking for... at all...

Mr Bomb,

I am impartial to brands I'm not going to fanaticize over fox farm because it is recommended by various ambiguous characters with little explanation of why its superior. I've used Happy Frog and seen Ocean Forest in a jar as a sample (and didn't buy it). FoxFarm is famous for burning seedlings, which is easily avoidable, and being overpriced... the black gold i bought is cheaper and made of less powerful ingredients. Plus people have to add the dolomite lime to their ocean farm to achieve good pH stability, which is great for me because I have 8.0-8.4 tap water.

"Ocean Forest® is a powerhouse blend of premium earthworm castings, bat guano, and Pacific Northwest sea-going fish and crab meal. Composted forest humus, sandy loam, and sphagnum peat moss give Ocean Forest® its light, aerated texture. Start with Ocean Forest® and watch your plants come alive!"

If I bought any soil from fox farm it would be light warrior for sure.

I have a quart bottle of Floranova Veg, which isn't completely organic but I am going to use it anyways.
