yup i agree 100 percent we've never had kali mist or jack herer. we get alot of shitty grown northern lights etc but when grown and cured right those can even fetch high prices. A purple strain of some sort ALLWAYS fetchs moneys in my area as well, infact thats my reccomendation some kind of purpleing strain that yields highI think I understand now. Like akin said, there are a billion great strains now so you have to offer something that other growers don't - a strain with a long flowering period, a strain that doesn't yield much, a rare connoisseur strain, a strain that is not sold in your area.
I stick with my original calls of Kali Mist and Jack Herer. If you could spread the word that Kali Mist eases menstral pain you couldn't keep it on the shelves. A valid medical reason to get high.

Strawberry Cough! Made famous in Children of men, fantastic up euphoric high, not a widely grown commercial strain, 9 week flowering period, easy to grow, eases or eliminates anxiety and depression, ... just a great strain. It's not purple though.
