What strain of mushroom is known as 'Purple Caps' ?

Can anyone enlighten?

Is purple caps the same as blue meanies or are they liberty caps maybe?

Any knowledgeable people please educate.

Can’t say for certain, never heard that term, but psilocybin mushrooms tend to turn purple or blue/green when bruised. My guess is that they are talking about liberty caps.

Likely you got, or they got a bunch of mushrooms that were grown in very calm conditions. The spores waft up and over the cap settling on the top and making the entire cap a bown purple color.
