im just startin out. and im wonderin about the temp. of my grow room...

I always find this question funny as the answer seems so set in stone. So anyone out there can answer this quiz question, how many place on the earth have a daytime temp of around 80 - 85, a night temp of 70 and give 18 hours of sunlight and then 6 hours of pure darkness. Then in the winter keep the same temps but drop the daytime to exactly 12 hours oh and daylight must start at the same time throughout. Would make it seem like marijuana only grows well in very limited areas.

same here ,8x6 room,1 1000watt light,it heats up to about 85 and drops to 70 in the nite,works purfect,but i hear you should go a bit colder for flowering.

some strains are more temp tolerant than others. mine isn't. I get above 85 and the bitch starts complaining.

When the lights are on you can usually have the temp. from 65-85 degrees. The ideal is 75 - 85. I have had my plants down to almost 50 degrees with the lights off. Didn't seem to affect them. Good luck!

Plants perform photosynthesis the best at a temperature between 76-78. So the perfect temperature is 76-78.
