What to do with used carbon filters?

So I have about 5 carbon filters that are used. I buy a new one every grow or so. These are Can 33 filters. My veg is open in the room and the flowering chamber is sealed. I bought one of the cheap 6" inline duct boosters and hooked it to an old one for piece of mind and just let it sit in the room running without any duct on it. It keeps the room smelling good and fresh too. I don't use the flange or anything, I just use metal tape to tape the fan in place. Works great. I have at least 3-4 used Can33's not in use, and multiple smaller ones. Is there something good to do with these? I do have a few ideas:

Refill them. I think about it all the time, it would save me 50 bucks if I refilled them, maybe more. Has anyone refilled can filters with good success? If I can do it reliably and its just as good I would. I do remember my first tries at building a carbon filter though. lol. They worked ok, but they weren't Can Filters.

Fish tank filter material. I don't think it would hurt my fish using the carbon for my filters, would it? I'm sure it isn't completely used up. Maybe I should build a Koi pond. I'm still left with a can filter in the end though.

Obviously after I replace the one in the flowering tent I will use it to purge the room and cycle the older one in use out.

Anyone else have an idea?

Here is a video of the can filter factory filling filter. It doesn't look like they are doing anything special except filling it and sticking the lid on it. It shows the filling process at about 1:00 into the video.
