What to do

Ok so this run has just been a fuggin’ shit show but they’re bag seeds so we’re just rolling with it. Just flipped to flowering last Wednesday (4/24). Both plants are showing signs of being female… however everyone has told me that I need to thin these plants out. That being said I’m reading that the first two weeks of flowering are the most crucial and you shouldn’t stress them much. So should I wait the 2 weeks to defoliate? The plants are already looking a little rough from a nutrient fuck up I made. Appreciate any help in advance for this noob.

don’t touch em leave them till day 21 then defoliate trust me I always defoliate 4-5 days before flip and day 21 that’s it also most crucial time is whole of flower as any mistakes can be fixed but will hurt yield I would say the first 2 weeks are the least to worry for me the most important time is weeks 3-6 the actual budding time

I don't like to defoliate, especially during flower.

As I wrote in the other thread, I like to tuck instead of pluck. Tuck the fans below any bud sites that they are shading. Those fans are your plant's solar panels that generate food (sugar) to feed the roots and the buds as they develop. I like to keep as many of them on the plant as I can.

I concur that you do not want to stress these plants when they are just starting to flower ie the first 20 days after you flip to 12/12.
