What type of bulb and other questions...

Hi all,

I just got a 70watt HPS security light for only £5 but it came with a broken bulb.

Bulb Type:' 70 watt Osram Son e Nav e (i)' igniter built into bulb.

As I need to get a bulb what would be the best type/make to get ?

Are there any with a better spectrum than others?

I understand the spectrum of most HPS bulbs is good for flowering is this true of all HPS bulbs even the ones that fit in security lights?

The ones I have seen are just over 2000k is this too much on the red side?

Should I remove the clear plastic Diffuser/cover on the lamp?

get the same bulb i hear there quite good in the 400w range
but get the same one that came out
the colour should be fine

How manny plants do you plan on growing under it? What strain? Just curious cuz @ 70 watts it would have to be pretty small or are you using it as a suppliment. Good Luck!

I am planning on two northern lights. Its a 2ft x 2 ft space. pc fans for cooling and vent.. I am still unsure about the additional lighting i will add. Thinking maye a 125w enviro dual spectrum so it will help veg and flower. I hear hps alone is not the best choice for vegging. I have a couple of other threads with more detail. Please check them out. You might be able to answer a couple of the questions on them. Thx.
