okay i got a newly sprouted seed inside a jiffy pellet . . . and all i give it is light 24/7 from 1 100watt floro . . and i water when i see the dirt is dry . . . i also made one of those cheap co2 bottles with yeast and sugar . . . is there anything else i will have to feed my baby right now or in the near future ?> if i do . . what is it and where can i buy ?> im on a cheap budget right now by the way ., . . thanks for your help everyone:hump:

Get a ph kit so you can adjust your water, etc. when needed. The liquid ones run about $12.

I find it better in the beginning to have your plants in darkness for 6-8 hrs a night. This is when your plant develops its root system. Once the plant gets going I will put it up to 22-24 hrs of light.

yeah yesterday i turned off the light at like 10 30 and turned it baclk on about 4 45 in the morning . . . so i think i will continue to do that for root development. . should i use miracle grow or any plant food or is there anything i need to get . . . where do i get a ph kit from >??

Its too soon to use fertilizers ... all you have there is a baby. When she (assuming its a girl) gets bigger, I'd recommend the Peter's "Jack's Classic" fertilizers.

Vegging: Peter's "Jack's Classic" 20-20-20.

Flowering: Peter's "Jack's Classic Blossom Booster" 10-30-20

Here's where to order by mail: http://www.jacksclassic.com/index.html

MJ loves this stuff. Just be sure to never exceed 1/4 strength or you'll burn your plants. Good luck ...

You're welcome. I found the Jack's Classic series after it was recommended to me by a VERY experienced grower. I used it for years and grew out some mighty fine plants with it. Remember ... no more than 1/4 strength.
