What Would You Do?

HELLO,
PLEASE READ AND GIVE ME YOUR ADVICE

THIS IS MY SET-UP SPACE AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MY OPTIONS. HOW CAN I MAXIMIZE THE SPACE I HAVE.

I HAVE TURNED A CLOSET INTO A VEG/FLOWER ROOM/SPACE.
THE VEG SIDE IS 2X2X8
THE FLOWER SIDE IS 3X2X8

I HAVE READ SOME THREADS HOW SOME ARE ABLE TO FLOWER EVERY 2/3 WEEKS. BUT THEY REALLY DON'T GO INTO A LOT OF DETAIL ON HOW TO DO THIS.

THIS IDEA SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE TO DO ON A SMALLER SCALE. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE TWO PLANTS TO GO INTO FLOWER AND COME OUT OF FLOWER EVERY 2/3 WEEKS.

ANY ADVICE ON SET UP, AIR FLOW, SOIL, HYDRO. JUST ANYTHING THAT CAN HELP. IF THIS WAS YOUR SPACE WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE IS A 600W DIG. BAL WITH BAT REFLEC.

you take clones from a mother plant and then flower those clones. you are supposed to flower several at all times in succession so that your harvesting never really stops, it leaves you cutting several smaller plants LOTS more often than traditional methods. there is a post on here by al.b.fuct about a large scale prepaetuall style harvest that i saw in a book several years ago but al.b.fuct's version goes more into deatil involving more recent methods as well as all the books.

I READ THAT ARTICLE, IT WAS VERY GOOD. BUT HE IS TALKING ABOUT 4X4 TABLES X4 WITH TWO LIGHTS. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT THEY WERE FLOOD TABELS OR HYDRO.

THE AREA THAT I HAVE TO GROW IN IS VERY SMALL. AND AFTER LIGHTS, FANS, AND ANY OTHER ITEMS THAT I MIGHT NEED -IT IS EVEN SMALLER.

I'M LOOKING FOR THE THE TOTAL SET-UP, AND GROW METHOD.

yooo... i've been looking at re-engeneering my grow area to do a cycling system like what your talking about... this is what i have been thinking of...

coco for the grow medium... its like hydro, but its still kinda like dirt... canna nutriants are made for growin bud... so its good stuff.. just use the canna nutriants they have a feeding chart that will come with them....

anyway the system goes like this... for you in your veg area, i would have 2 mom plants each in 3galon buckets that will take up 1/2 of your veg area..
on the other 1/2 i would put 1 aro cloner, this can be made out of a 5 galon bucket as well.... then in the last space left, you guessed it 1 more 5 galon bucket... this is gona be the plant your vegine to put into your grow area.....

so this makes for 4 spots in your veg area, 2 spots for moms, 1 spot for a cloner and 1 spot for the clone that is being vegged to go into flower...

see the trick with this setup, is just putting in one plant at a time... every 2 weeks you will take a couple clones off a mom hoping that 1 makes it, you will move the best colne that is currently in the cloner, into a coco bucket to be veged for 2 weeks... and you will take the coco bucket that has been vegging for the past 2 weeks and put it in your flower room, after you take out the plant that is at the end of flowering


now it takes about 8 weeks to flower a plant, so you put 1 plant in the flower room week 1-2, then week 3-4 you put antoher plant in the flower room, then week 5-6 you put antoher plant in, then at the end of week 7-8 you take the first plant you put in to the flower room out, so now you have a cycle going where you harvest 1 plant ever 2 weeks....


persoanly i beleave you will get a better yeild this way... i think its better use of light and space.. now with the coco, all you have to do, is mix up the nutriants then watter the plants with them.... not like hydro where all the plants work off the same nutriant solution.. this way you will beable to keep in diffrent stages of growth... hope this helps

take 12 plants under a 400watt. you start it by putting in 2. then 2 weeks later add 2 more. 2 weeks later 2 more. continue untill you have 12. when you put the 13th set in you will have to harvest the first ones that you put in when you started the method. then move all plants down to make room for the new ones being started in the process.
you should have 12 plants @ all times. then everytime u harvest put clones in.
so if u put 2 clones in every 2 weeks, and got the room full (total of 12) youd be getting 2 plants every 2 weeks harvest.

so you basically understand it then.
you get better bang for your buck. and more often to yo.
a 400 makes a easy yield of 2 plants every 2 weeks even for a beginner at it. after that you can tweak out your system to pull more in it.
should i do some type of diy on a setup like this perhaps so it easier to understand?

Ok, That All Makes Sence. I Have Been Growing In 3gal Round Pots With M-gro Soil Which Are In The 12 Day Of Flower. About 5 Months Ago I Tried To Use Coconut Hust And It Just Killed The Plants. It There A Certian Way To Mix The Coco With Other Growing Med. What Is The Trick. And Whats The Pros And Cons Using This Over Soil Or Hydro. The Other Problem Is That If I Use 3gal Pots I Will Only Be Able To Put 6 In The Flower Area At One Give Time. I Was Thinking On Using 1.5 Gal Sq. So I Can Get 6 Or More If Needed.
And What About Air In And Air Out. I Have A Window About 3 Feet From The Area And I Was Thinking About Cutting A Hole In Top Of The Closet To The Attic.
Thxs For All Your Input It Will Make A Big Difference So I Don't Have To Make The Same Mistakes As Others.

i have been told that venting to the attic may give a place for mold and pest to enter into your grow room so id steer away from that. I have my plants setup in a big vented room so i cant tell you how to vent yours. i did mine this way to avoid all that.
i dont know what the fuss about all this coco is..........i just use dirt. I put plants in 2 weeks apart. i get a crop every 2 weeks. i dunno know how u people make it so hard........
