how would I go about creating one? i dont really want a ziplock bag around my plants..its kinda weird.

i want something that is SOLID and STURDY, can be made at home, is clear (so maximum light exposure), and with maybe a possibility of having holes on the bottom to bring in some air.

I went to my local grocery store and looked in the cookware isle and found those aluminum baking pans. They come with a raised plastic lid. works great.

i used a cardboard cheerio box from costco so it was double a normal cereal box. i cut out all the sides so i left a frame which i wrapped in ducttape so it didnt get messed up from water. then i taped syran wrap to each side so i had a little box with windows. it worked awesome and held in all the moisture.

Soda/water bottles... just cut the top off and put them upside down on your plants.

Or... do you have any clear tupperware tubs? Maybe some of those ziploc disposable ones.
