Hello! For past 1 week and half my plant's leaves started getting totally dried out/brown on just part of leaf, not whole. Plant is in veg state probably one month old. I really have no idea why is this happening, PH is between 5.5 - 6.5, I use 4x CFL 23 W for one plant.

This is indoor closet grow. My first one
I will get HPS today too.

If anyone know a solution to my problem, I'd be very happy for help. Thank you for all answers in advance!

You PH is out. You can't grow in soil with a ph of from 5.5 to 6.5. It needs to be 6.2 to 6.5 for the best results, maybe 6, but no lower. Fluctuations can cause a lot of problems, keep it tighter and they will do better, and add Calmag, you will need it.

How often do you water? How often do you feed? I bet you are overwatering. My guess without knowing your feeding schedule is that you have what is known as a nutrient lockout. The plant cant get the NPK that is in the soil medium. Overwatering kills your roots by cutting off their oxygen. The roots can not absorb the nutes efficiently. The tacoing of your leaves leads me to believe you have a low humidity in your room also. Keep the humidity between 55%-60% in there. Do not run in there and start to feed the roots because you will make things worse. Try to folliar feed for two weeks to allow for the roots to repair themselves. The folliar feeding will get the plants the nutes it needs to recover from this. You are going to lose leaves from the bottom up for 10-14 days. The plants will green up in this time from the folliar and soon the new root growth will kick in to help get the plant back on track. Plain ph'd water for these two weeks. Do not water for a few days until you feel the container is super light from drying out. This will work I bet. Folliar feed the plants a veg nute product that has micronutes in it also such as Mag and Ca. 1/4 strength. And keep your ph at 6.3ish give or take a point or two max.

Thank you everyone for great answers! :)

@Gandalf
I water them every 3-4 day. Feed, not sure what does that mean (sorry I'm beginner), is that Fertilizer or? 2 days ago I've transplanted it into bigger container and roots from previous container were coming out at bottom, this new container doesnt contain any bottom holes. Humidity is about 44% right now I'm not sure how to raise it up, I got HPS 400W today and switched to. Sorry again but what is folliar feed? :) Thank you. The water i used i think has approx between 5.4-6.2 PH. Does Plain water means TAP water? I will do as you say and hopefully will get some results :) Where can i get Mag = Magnesium and CA = calcium? Thank you for everything :))

Folliar feeding is spraying the plants leaves with nutrient solution, I use 1/4 of suggested strength. Spray both sides well. Feed means giving fertilizer. Get your humidity up to 55-60 ish. Get a humidifier or put out a big bowl of water with a fan on it. Watch your temps with the 400 W lamp. Your waters ph should be 6.4ish. Tap is plain water. You can order CalMag online from any hydro shop.
