What's the best time to start an outdoor grow?

Up until this point, I've always been an indoor grower. However, my location seems to make it less likely that I get caught growing outdoors rather than inside my home. I was just wondering when the best time would be for starting an outdoor grow and maybe if you guys could give me a couple of experienced tips... It would be appreciated.

when the weather starts to warm up more, there are no more freezes, or major storms, basically when the weather is nice enough and the days are starting to get longer!! look for good weather no freeze and longer days!!!bongsmilie

Okay, thanks. Just what I was looking for. So what... Spring just hit... Still getting some cold weather and storms... Maybe June? Sounds about right.

Just finished an indoor grow. Started out with 2 48" plant fluros. When the plant got about 8 inches I moved on to 120w of 6500K fluros in a different spot. Flowered at about 18 inches under 2700Ks. Still in the drying process. Pretty cool to see someone else from WV on here. Only about 100 people on this thread on average and of all the places in the world...

Will do. I've got a decent set up in my attic. Fan, lights, and AMAZING ventilation. (Where I live, no chance of helicoptors) Lol.

Plus, I use fluros, no heat. At least nothing that will compar to the summer outdoors temp.

I'll get started tomorrow hopefully.

My setup was pretty cheap as well. Grandparents gave me the fan, entire 48" light setup was only $20. An since I used eBay, I maybe spent... $30 on the CFLs. And that got me through my entire grow.

Oh, and the timer. Can't remember the price, but I got it cheap on eBay as well.

Dload the latest version of google earth
If your poor use torrents and get the latest version.
There is an option in it that allows you to track the sunlight from rise to set and shows you in 3d. It's a GODSEND for picking places to grow as you can see the coverage and angle as well as amount of sun(hours).Lotta peeps Don't plant til mid late june up in north ontario.

You mean Google Earth 5.0? It's free. the only one NOT free is the pro, which is about $400. Most people wouldn't buy that anyways simply because... Well, it's $400 and Google Earth 5.0 is amazing enough by itself.
