Whats the biggest i can go with 1 gallon pot?

My room is setup where i can only grow my plants about 28 inches from bottom of pot to top of plant. What is the highest i can grow it? And what height is ideal for budding to harvest at 28 inches tall.

1 gal per ft of growth is ideal...But Ive seen some i mpressive things done in small containers....That height you talked about would be the max IMO.

As long as the plants arent stressing from the heat of your light or getting burned they're ok. I'd try to flower no later than 8".
