It will be slow for a bit. Usually you top at the 3 or 4th node so you have plant left to support faster growth and recovery.

I did the same thing my first plant.

next time leave the fan leaves on and strip it down once it’s bigger. Right now it doesn’t have enough leaves to power normal growth.

I know. The lower branches you leave can be removed after the new tops get growin.
Its just faster and has the same result.

All the nutes plant is uptaking to support your "removed" are now overwhelming your remaining growth structures. Reduce the nutes for a week or so.
