When can I clone these?

2. Is cloning manipulating nature/harming the plant or is it ethical?

3. Are these teen plants yet?

4. Can the sun burn a hole through water drops on leaves if it's hot? Or is that just an indoor light problem?

5. How tall should these get (or how many days/weeks) before I transplant them into a 5 gallon cloth pot?

6. When would I start needing to give nutrients? And is there an inexpensive alternative?

1. Yes, those small shoots just above the fan leaves are what you will be taking for clones typically, you want them to have a few nodes of their own before they are ready.

2. That's a personal choice, I have no qualms

3. I guess if they were human I would call them "tweens"?

4. I believe that to be hippie myth, water droplets sit on the leaves, fire through refraction requires very specific angles.

5. I would get them about 12" tall if not topping, or maybe 2 weeks

6. I start feeding at 1/4 strength about 2 weeks from root/sprout then work up. Less is better than more

Good luck, they look happy so far just don't be a "helicopter parent" :)

If you fim them ( or fim 1plant if only taking cuttings from the one plant ), then the growth hormones will move to side shoots and they'll stretch quicker, while the top heals where you fim'd it..it'll still take roughly 2weeks but side shoots should be good for cloning. Happy growing,
