When do i transplant?

So they're on about day 12 or so out of soil. I know it isn't quite time yet, but what should I be looking for to know when to step up in our size. Hope the picture is good enough.

I’d wait another week, easy on the water, drain hole in the cup. Plant deep, up to the dicot no problem.
Edit: is that soil or coco? You said soil.

I wait for roots to show in the drain holes.

Watch for plant size you got awhile( If you choose)You can always slide it out and look

I actually did that unintentionally the day before yesterday. My cat jumped into my tent and knocked 3 of them over and slid out of the cup about halfway. They are looking good. Not filing the cup yet, but healthy looking and strong.

I transplant when they're this size.

Not yet. Those plants don't need to be transplanted at this time.

I have plants with 6-7 nodes still in 2.5x2.5 inch seedling starter pots. I just pulled this out of the veg tent that I have in my office/man cave.

I transplant when the plants are drinking every other day watering until slight runoff in coco.
Another way would be just wait until they have 4-5 node sets before you move them to a bigger container.

I wait until they look like this.. I found if they don't have good roots then the soil falls apart and can cause issues.

Soil. Typically i leave seedlings/clones in a cup until they need water every day, then they go into 3g pot. done.
