When does the risk surpass the reward ?

This is my question !

How many lamps until it gets too risky ?

1 - 1000w = not risky
2 - 1000w = a little risky
4 - 1000w = risky - I personally find this alot but some people say this is possible in a house.
Anything over this is a big risk because this cannot be done in a single family dwelling

Correct me if I'm wrong !!!!

My goal is too get upto 3 lamps going in my house.
I will finished my first grow in about 2 weeks but I am starting my second grow this week end the latest....

IMO it starts to get risky at anything over 1 1000W or 10 plants

Honestly even if it is for personal use(which I even doubt with MULTIPLE 1kw bulbs), your pretty fucked if you get busted.

Some computers eat up close to 1000 watts. Microwaves take more. Hair dryers take more. My 'safety cutoff' is 2000 watts worth of flowering lamps. Beyond that and my paranoia level would be too high. (I'm at 1600 watts now, plus another 432 watts for my veg box.)

The main thing, more important than anything else, is: you had best pay your electric bill on time every time. As long as you do that, the electric company has zero incentive to look any deeper, or care.

A general rule of thumb is 1000w per a room in the house. If you have a 4 bedroom house you can get away with 4000 watts total. 2000 watts is not risky tho. Anything above that you might need to worry. But dont even trip if your around 2000. Good luck and be safe
