When is it too late to prune to get rid of lower vegetation?

I have a couple plants that are pretty bushy. I'm worried the lower sites are going to suck up the juice for the top buds. When is it too li are to prune and should I?

A good time to do the final lolipop is about 20 days into 12/12. By then you have finished the stretch phase on most strains and can see what's not going to get any light.

usually week 5 of flower for fan leaves but week 3 you want to drop the bottom 3rd

Its not too late right now for sure...

I usually stop thinning n trimming around week 3-4 of flowering...not many New leaves growing by then anyway

And yes you should...definately

I took out the lower foliage. Is this enough? Trimmed any fan leaf with a branch and left the ones that have buds.
