When is my bud ready to harvest?

I am on my 6 th week of flowering’s stage growing wedding cake. I read that it’s best to harvest when most the white hairs roll in an see brown hairs. Also, the thc potency is greater when the trichomes are cloudy.
I have posted pictures of today for reference.

also, what are you’re thoughts on how long before harvest are you to give the plants only water and no nutes

Normally you would have an idea of your strains flowering time normally 8 to 10 week but I always go off the pistles being half red half white then if you have a magnifying glass or mini microscope look at the tricombs you want them cloudy and some Amber if they all go.amber you have gone a little to far but still will be OK it just takes some of the potency thry don't look to far from done tho maybe another week its hard to say without looking at the tricomes give another 2 week as its only 6 weeks then have a look 8 weeks is normally minimum some take more

Okay thank you! Under the microscope I don’t see any amber trichomes only milky. I was just getting worried because I was starting to see less white hairs and more brown.
Should I give it just ph’d water 2 weeks before harvest?

depends really what feed have you been using? Use half strength last week then do a full flush just ph water and i normally leave in the dark for 48 hours before cutting down
