When ready to harvest

just a general question... when i get ready to cut my plant down... what do i do??? do i hang them for a week or so... do i put them in a brown paper bag... or do i jar them??? i am lost at this point... i got about 2 to 3 weeks before i clip it... i am just wondering what i should do... or how to do it!!! let me know thanx...
