Hey it's my first time indoors, I have an AeroGarden Pro 200 setup, and currently my mother is growin at an astonishing rate. When should I go ahead and start cloning? I've never done clones before, and It would be a great help if I could get some insight on this scientific wonderfulness.
When should I clone, what should the plant look like?
How many nodes up/down should i go?
How long should I cut them?
Can I put the clone right into the sponge planters? If so that would be sweetness.
I need info!
Thanks again

you should have extra stems above ur fan leaves that have colas like the top of the plant. they should preferably have small fan leaves towards the base on the sides, cut those then cut 45 1/2 inch lower do what you do and wala. if they dont have fan leave and seem long enough then i heard of a technique that you can scrape the stem with the blade in a few spots at the cut to create areas for root nodes.

but im a noob but a well informed one and i didnt start until i had enough cloneable shoots so that the plant wouldnt stress as much after i take cuttings. also you want to take more than u need cause some might not make it home after the war.

thanks man, It's only about 1 1/2 inch tall right now, but I'm sure it'll be ready to clone in no-time, so any advice I can get between now and then would be greatly appreciated. So the clones would go right in the sponge planters then?
Thanks
