When should I put down my ScroG net?

I'm on day 25 of veg on my chocolate Hashberry and platinum og plants under a 400w MH. At first I only had 5.5' of height to work with so I LST'd her two branches to either side. One of my LST's turned into a very beneficial early super crop. However, Now I have an extremely bushy plant about 8" tall in the shape of a T with tops all over. I recently just upgraded my space and now I have 9 feet of height to work with! My question is, when should I throw a screen on her? She's really bushy and still pretty short, but her growth is insane. I plan to veg for a total of 8-9 weeks.

Here are the pics: The chocolate Hashberry is on the left, so bushy you can't see the main stem do a almost horizontal Y underneath. The last pic is of the stem about a week and a half ago, you can see what my early LST made her do


Oh the taller plant on the right is a platinum og. She's actually about a week behind the chocolate but is much taller and I'm not sure if I should LST her or just say fuck it and throw a screen on them in about a week since many people seem to put down their screens halfway through veg?

Help?

I really hope I'm not too late to put down an effective scrog....I see a lot of people putting them up when their plants are much smaller than mine...

Usually the screen is around 8" above the top of the container. You are fine. Height is really your preference. How big a screen are you going to install? That would determine how long you would veg.

Thanks for easing my mind there Afgoo. Checked out the ScroG in your Journal and it gave me a better idea of when to put it up. My girls are at 9" and 12" respectively, so I will throw a screen on them at the end of this week and let them fill it up over the next 4 weeks or so. I plan to make the screen 5' wide 2.4' deep. I want to make the height adjustable since I have over 8 ft of height to work with. I expect I'll be having to do some early tucking with the chocolate Hashberry since it is so bushy already.
