When should i put seedlings under 600 hps??

Hi im just wondering when i should put my seedlings under my 600w hps light? and how far away should i keep them from this light?? ... I have them under 4 40w cfl tubes and i am keeping the light on 24 hours per day... should i turn them to 18/6 at this stage as they have just broken ground??? and when i put them under the HPS should i go straight to 18/6????? thanks EcKtOpLaZm

What do your friends say about this? You know, the ones that grow 5-7oz. from each plant?

Id keep them under the low lighting since there only seedling , then put them under the 600 hps once they are a little bigger.

Just remember when you put them in with the 600 hps , keep the light really high to begin with , and constantly check on them for the first few day's , make sure they dont dry out.

I would do 16/8 under the 600 hps till they are a decent size then you want to put them into 12/12 to begin flowering.
