When should i swop from cfl to mh 400w

Hey wassssup guys im a first time indoor grower purchased some seeds from Greenhouse Seed Co anyway i got my seedling up 6 cfl's for about 13days now some seedlings are taller than others is that normal also i would like to know when i could swop from cfl to mh 400w....this is my set up my grow room is 5x4x3.5 will be using 10 400w mh / hps also got an hit250 as an extractor and hit200 as an air intake please let me know if i should get any other fans or larger ones

Seedlings can take the mh after a week or two from pop in outta dirt so it should be ok to swap now.

10 400 watters? 2 400 watt would probably be fine. I'd wait for the 3rd node to swap. Yeah it's normal for different seeds (even the same strain) to grow differently. As for ventilation, time will tell. It's a fun process getting it all figured out.

I also have a 400W set up and I started my seeds in the light. Planted into 16oz cups with sandwich bags over the top for extra humidity (seedlings enjoy humidity!). As soon as the seedlings pop and the coteyldons (2 first embryotic leaves, round no edges) straighten out I remove the baggies. At this point seedlings are actually using photosynthesis, sending sugars to the root system.

PS: During all of this keep the light 2-3 feet from the seedlings. After 2-3 nodes form you can begin lowering and monitoring your changes.
