Whats up guys, i have a skunk auto right now about 3 weeks old started seeing pistils a few days ago, i have it in mcenroe organic potting soil with a 6" layer of recipe 420 which i purchased online, none of the leaves are yellow or anything and cotyledons are still healthy. I have fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom, just wondering when is it a good time to start feeding the flower nutes. Thanks.

My best answer would be when they show signs of wanting some. I grow in a neutral medium so I have full control.

Bad answer I know but since no one else has chimed in...

I appreciate the input! Yea i was thinking of just waiting till the leaves begin to fade or something but im unsure of what signs to lookout for

I would wait longer. See those hooked tips on the top leaves? That is a sign that they have all they need for now.

For flowering nutes, wait until they are showing that they are flowering. I would also watch the bottom fan leaves and when you see the shine start to come off them, that is the time to nute them.

Thanks guys! Yea that means the root system must have made it to the layer of recipe 420 i have at the bottom of my pot since its only the new leaves that are hooked, or am i wrong?

You got it! I've got some doing the same thing. They will grow through it.

Awesome thanks alot bugeye i appreciate the help, and i do have some pistils coming out, first seen them a few days ago so shes definitely starting to flower, which is why i asked when to start feeding the bloom nutes but from what ive read, with feeding autos, less is more so id really like to only feed her when she needs it, dont wanna cause any unnecessary stress.
