When to flower stage

Hi, my plant is about 3 weeks old. I wonder when I should put them under 12/12 light since I dont want my plant to grow too big or anything because its hard to hide it and take care of it. Thanks. Also right now im using Miracle Seed Potting mix. i havnt used any nutrients or anything yet. Im going to transplant my plant into a bigger pot. What should I do? what should i buy? Im completely newbie. Advices?

ur not anywhere near the 12/12 cycle, i just did my transplant, i did it into a 1gallon pot with foxfarm soil, when you move the plant just be careful and try not to leave any roots, wanna keep as many as possible. one mistake i made was not enough light so make sure you got alot of light, iv been told 4-6 cfl's per plant.

you can wait until pre flowers show or when about 13in tall

you want to find a different soil then miracle grow... i just transplanted mine into some fox farm ocean forest organic potting soil. my plants have been veggin for a few weeks now and am still waiting a couple more to start 12/12... once you go into flowering plants will get a lot bigger too so make sure you dont outgrow your growspace..

im not using nutes until i start flowering and then im using carbo load. bud blood and big bud from advanced nutrients.. its really up to what you want to buy and how much money your spending. check out your local hydro store. mine helped me a lot.
