When to put outdoors bay area cali

I heard June 1st but some say mid June.

Just download a weather app look at sunrise and sunset times. Want there to be more than 14.5 hours. Putting them out now probably wouldnt hurt the only veg months for most of US is June and July, they probably wouldn't transition enough to matter if at all, being so close to outdoor veg season, and taking up to 2 wks under 14.5hrs to transition. Could always pull them up under a porch light the first couple weeks, if concerned

I’ve had plants outside in a worse climate since April. I’m sure you could have had them outside much sooner.
