I discovered one lady showing powdery mildew yesterday. I've just started week 4 flowering. I'm sure the other plants are already affected but not showing yet. Hydro store recommended Safer brand Garden Fungicide. My question is what time of the day should I apply?
Common sense tells me not to spray them under lights on because of possible burn. Lights out makes more sense but since I'm fighting mildew I question the fact that they will be wet with no light.
So again I ask the pros on RIU what they think....What time of day should I spray fungicide on plants flowering week 4 under 1000 watt HPS?
One option, I thought might work, is spraying at lights ON but increasing the fans a bit, spreading the girls out to promote air circulation and turning my adjustable ballast to 50% until they are dry, then 75% for a bit and finally full strength...thoughts?
My tent is 5x5 with 11 girls. Temps run 75-77 with R/H~35% during the day and night time drops to 64 degrees with humidity between 50-60%.
