When to start budding.

I am growing Carmelicious from seeds, in soil, using organic compost, duck manure, and urine for fertilization. Specs say plants should reach about 2.5 feet tall, and yield 19 oz. per plant. Using a 120 W LED panel, 2-14 W red LED bloom panels, underlighting with a small full spectrum floro, and enhancing orange spectrum with a 90W infrared bulb. Plants had a crappy start, as I germinated seeds when I ordered my lights on the promise that my lights would ship in 2-5 days. Lights were a full month late arriving, so seedlings got kind of leggy under the small full spectrum light and I had to bury about two inches of stem when I transplanted. plants have now been under lights for about two weeks and are between 12-16 inches tall with lots of bud sites. this is my first time growing under lights, so I'm totally newb about when to kick them into flowering stage. I'm in no particular hurry, so it doesn't matter to me if I let them veg longer. Take a look and tell me what you think.

people usually wait till the plant is at least 12 inches tall. most people wait till it hits maturity and shows preflowers cuz the longer you wait the more bud you get. remember though the plant can double sometimes triple in height so remember that when its time to flower

To be honest you can put plants on a flowering cycle from a seedling and get bud within a couple of weeks, yes a very small amount but it can be done, iv done it.
