When to switch from a seedling light to a full spectrum light?

As the title says.
When is a good time to switch.
Truth be told, I haven't seen alot of growth from my little girls, and was wondering why?

What are you using for a seedling light, how far away is it from your seedling, how long have they been growing, how big are they, what media are you in, have you been feeding?

Your lack of pics and actual grow info means anything we tell you is purely just a guess at this point.

The seedlings are 4 weeks old give or take a few days. They are in seedling start media. About 3.5 to 4 inches tall, and under a 2' Flouresent seedling light 18/6. And about 3bto 4 inches from the light.
No pics, at work. No nute at this time

At 4 weeks they should no longer be seedlings but full fledged plants. I'd be very concerned they are only 4 inches tall.

I agree your plants should be bigger at this point. Maybe fluorescent lights isn't working properly? I run my seedling for a week and a half under an 80W iLBar. Then repot and switch to my full spectrum light for veg dimmed down and progressively work from there. Some pics when you can could help a bit though...

My full spectrum light doesn't have a dimming option.
I will carry on.
Thanks all.

Your plants focus on root development first. So it they're in a big pot, it'll take a while but once it's established, it'll take off. There might not be much activity up top, but rest assured there's lots going on under ground. As long as the roots don't drown, you should be good.

In general, at 4 weeks, you should have a second or third node.

I do have a second node starting to devolope, but haven't seen a huge growth yet.

ok. I grow in them all the time.

Here's what I do. I put my pots in a tray and only water from the bottom. That's to say, I never water the pots themselves. I only add 1/4 inch of water in the tray. Once that water disappears, I wait a day or two to add another 1/4 inch. At 4 weeks, I start feeding 1/4 to 1/2 strength and that's when they explode.

Roots at 3 weeks.

I usually put them out at 8 weeks and I have to untangle 6" long roots.

Do you ever remove the pots when they look like that?

4 weeks? They are pre teens to teens. 4 more weeks and they're mature adults.
They're small because you're treating them like seedlings perhaps. You have them in library mode like when you are cloning and keeping genetics in slow motion with minimal feed and light.
Something to think about.

Good luck.
