When to transplant Auto Flowering seedlings?

you should plant autoflowering plants directly into their final container from seed to avoid stressing the plant. since they haven't begun flowering, but will soon, go ahead and transplant them now, but be VERY careful doing so, so as to avoid stress and damage to the root system. In the future just put the seed directly into the container they will be harvested from.

I transplanted mine with no problems or set back if it's good strain and your transplanting in the same soil should be fine. I had no problems, you could but doubt it. Next time put it right in the pot Iys going to be in until harvest so you don't have to worry about it. I will do this,less hassle and mess! Lol and just because I didn't have a problem doesn't mean you won't but there's a risk in everything so take it or grow a mini auto! Lol

i have another seedling which is about a month and a half old, which i had a few problems with, is under 18/6, about 2 days ago it started showing its pistols, it also needs to be transplanted obviously. could this bubblecious be an auto strain? it was never under 12/12 or maybe because the plant is already mature at such a small size?

It could just be showing it's sexual maturity like you said. I've only vegged plants to maturity once but I was able to see pistols on the female preflowers under 18/6 lighting. I'm talking about a non-auto of course.

If you read my post history you will see I love CJ auto's and they can grow as big as 5ft tall... I have seen this more than a few times. So long story short, don't transplant unless you have to. Auto's don't like to be messed with.

Obviously it is recommended that autos be placed in their final containers from Day One. That being said you can plant an auto in a smaller container and transplant to your final pot with no ill effects providing you know how to transplant with minimal stress. Doing anything to an auto that causes stress will stunt an autos size/yield. Some people have no idea how to transplant without making it a huge ordeal. These people are the ones that shouldn't x-plant. Those of us that realize a transplant takes all of 3 minutes with no stress have no problems...
