When to use Overdrive

I've been reading and I'm a bit confused about when to use AN Overdrive and if I should continue using Sensi Bloom while doing so. I'm growing Humboldt Blue Dream and just started my 6th week of flower, going for 9-10 weeks total. What week do I begin with OD, should I continue using SB or something else, and when/how long do I flush?

Thank you for helping me sort this out!

Phosphorus, and Potassium boost should have been given in weeks 3.5-6 in a 10 weeks flowering strain, and Mg, and Sulfur should get a boost in weeks 7-8. 2.5-5 in an 8 weeks flowering strain ect... Considering youre in week 6, Id give them a shot if it. Maybe 2 waterings..

Yes this would be along with flowering nutrients. Its also a myth to cut out Nitrogen during flowering. All nutrients should be slowly increased until week 8 in a 10 weeks flowering strain. Then cut back the last 2 weeks. Flushing is also a myth.

So...when do I give OD and for how long? You are talking over my head at this point, I'm totally new to this.

If youre starting in week 6, Id give it to them 2x. Starting with next watering. Then again at the next watering. I wouldnt give full strength either.

You should have given them the boost in weeks 3.5-6. This is the last week for boost. Then they will need a bit of extra Magnuesium, and Sulfur. I dont know what you feed yours ect, but I use Epsom Salts for Mg/Sulfur. I get my Calcium from Calcium Nitrate. 15.5-0-0 I dont use Cal/mag.

Yeah but youve missed the first week-week and a half that it would be beneficial. Weeks 3.5-6. I usually start a few days before recommendations. 1 extra watering/feed. For a 10 weeks strain Id boost them in weeks 3.5-6. Vs weeks 4-6.

I appreciate your input but your answers have confused me even more. Can someone else chime in on this? How can I go from reading everyone saying you should do it towards the end of flowering, to someone saying I have already passed the time to start when I am only half way through?

.

Growbee I've been using Overdrive with undetermined results. This grow I'm getting trichomes that I can see with the naked eye, something I'd been missing on previous grows with the same clone family.

The Overdrive bottle calls for 2 ml of overdrive per litre of water. I feed each plant 2 gallons of water so 16 ml of Overdrive I believe.

I start using it after week 6 of flower and flush with only Overdrive for 2 weeks. If the plant goes longer than that I flush with ph'd water only.

.

I can't vouch for any results yet but things look promising.

Good luck!

Thank you! How many times a week do you give 2 gallons of water? Mine is quite thirsty, in a very big pot.

I'm in 7 gallon smart pots and I water my flower garden every 4th day. I get 1/4 to 1/2 a gallon runoff which I vacuum out.

The easiest way to determine when to water is the lift the pot method - just see when it's lite. You can fill a spare pot with loose medium and lift each with the same hand for comparison.
