I want to grow my own salvia but cant find anywhere the sells seeds! its legal to grow so i figured it wouldnt be so hard. anyone know a site??

It is rare because its a cultivated species (cultigen), you have .0000000000001% of finding one in nature where it reproduces vegetatively.

Lol I adopted a sickly looking salvia plant today, probably like 2 feet tall, but it had a bit of an insect infestation soits not too happy yet.
Will take pics in the light tommorrow of my sad looking new family member.

somewhere in the plants history it suffered genetic damage making any seeds produced almost always non viable. it has been propagated by clone for a very long time and chances are if you have a cutting of it, it is from the original that richard evan schultes brought back from mexico many years ago

Actualy as far as I know there are at least 2 specimens from wich clones were propagated, I have the less hairy version.
