Which first piece to buy?

Hi I have been blazing for around 2 years with my friends and they all use tobacco in their joints which I don't really like, so I want to purchase a glass piece.
The 2 products which I seem to like are

The first one looks like it has a weird carb hole in the side of the bong, which will get really annoying. but it does come with that metal pipe and lighter and case so you have something portable as well. On the other hand the second one says it is made from heavy duty glass, so it is a lot less likely to break. You just have to weigh you options. What are you going to be using it for? just sitting at home or are you going to be using it on the go.

Well my main usage would be at home and i already own a grinder and metal stem so I guess I could make a metal pipe. Overall I would want the better bong.

either one. kind of lean towards the second one with heavier glass. which ever u choose, smoking through glass is the best way. GL

bro ive wasted a lot of money on glass. someone owed me 170$ and they gave me a digital volcano to make up for it.. worth 700$ easy/ not saying i dont smoke and i only vape, but what ive found is a small normal bong, with rubber O-rings and a single ice pinch is simple and perfect for me. I was lucky to come across the volcano or i wouldnt have bought it, but it changed the way i feel about expensive glass bongs and such. and if the bong isnt expensive, itll most likely break b/c its thin

in other words dont pay more than 40-60$ for your bong. its also nice to buy locally and support the community, even though they just get their stuff online too

Well locally is not really an option for me as I am in the UK, where our views on cannabis are not as relaxed so I doubt people would disclose any information about them.

i prefer glass i try to find ones with a flater bowl or stem to prevent rollover wether its dumpin a bowl or worse rolling over and crashing on floor.

Its a lil small but I like my glass
