Which Room?

Gotta question setting up for my first grow.

I have a choice of rooms in my house. Both are roughly same size at 7' x 10'. One is a storage room off of my attached garage the other is a storage room with a door that leads outside. The other primary difference is door placement, garage room door is centered, the outside room door is set to one side allowing for more area that's not swept by a door opening and closing. I'm leaning towards the garage room primarily because I won't have to worry about light leaks or neighbors.

I live in a warm, high humidity area. Can I vent into my attic or should I vent outdoors or into my garage?

I plan on running a 600 hps with carbon scrubber and ONA gel bucket. Plan on running a SCROG in a Hempy or an active hydro system. While new to MMJ I'm pretty good at growing tomatoes and other vegetables.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

garage, you could easily install window ac units.. if you have windows. yes you can vent into the attic a lot of folks do that. don't vent into the garage it will heat up 120 degrees needs to go out side or the attic .

I've got a room very similar as it's 9x10, but I decided to Not go with this room because it's right there at my garage. Lots of foot traffic in front of my house all times of day and it would only take one equipment failure or crazy wind direction to pass the smell across the nose of the right/wrong person. It's an absolutely perfect room but it's just too risky. I've decided to go up in the attic since I've got full length ridge vents and other multiple vents to tap into.

Maybe I'm being too paranoid, but there are lots of growers that work so hard and aren't trouble makers, but get zapped by the smallest problem that exposes the smell or someone walk up on you.

I live in southwest Louisiana so heat & humidity are a beast. I just modified a 10,000 windo unit that I got from Amazon Warehouse deals for $98 and turned it into a more portable unit. It works great so far in my workshop so when I get the attic grow going it should work just fine.

I'm in the same region so we have very similar climates. Neighborhood has minimal foot traffic and I have few visitors. I'm thinking a dehumidifier and possibly a portable a/c unit. Thanks for your help.
