Magical green

my plant has a white fungus growing on the soil my plant is very young bout two weeks old. I do not want to loose this plant because where I live it's hard to come by seeds and I only get crips so seeds are like one to a pound or three also very crip. I was told by a friend that I could put a small portion of ivory liquid Soap to a gallon of water and that should kill the fungus. I am not sure if this will work or kill the plant.

Also I have a grapeape plant even smaller about one week old and it came along after the fungus hit.is three any thing I can do to prevent it from catching the fungus to. I have the fungus covered one in my closit where it got the fongus and my grapeape in the window seal ecause I'm worried the grow room was contaminated. Any suggestions on that also?
