White hairs

Hey guys this is my first grow, ive vegged one of my plants for well over 2-3 and a half months now, it has white hairs coming out of the nodes. i havnt even set it to 12 hours on and off yet, is this normal? and some of the hairs are turning red whats up with that?

They r just preflowers yes its normal its the plants way of telling u its ready to flower.

3 months? what u vegging with? a zippo lighter or candle?

neh 4 4 foot 40 watt coolwhite florecents 1 68watt cfl and 2 50 watt cfls and its just huge i decided to let it grow for awhile. and thanks guys. its even normal for it to turn red though?
