Well......it took me quite some time to even understand what you meant till I looked at your avatar. Is that a Knockwurst? Nice caramelization, and what made you decide to cross-hatch your meat? I only ask because it is not something you see everyday. We do it with hotdogs in resturants so the cook faster that way they do not burn.

it's a german sausage. I am not sure why they cut them this way.
