The only company I feel comfortable ordering seeds from is MR NICE authorized vendors . I am afraid the others are not breeders but marketers.
Been looking at Mandela for some Satori. Looking for high quality Durban Poison, Burmese, Blackberry (the Durban Poison Cross).
Initially I was looking at Green House Seeds - but I've read so much bad stuff (I know it can't all be true - but why spend 6 months and have dispensary grade crap vs. some real
quality). Serious seeds is good - but when I learned the BREEDER doesn't even par take in marijuana consumption (WTF?) so that's like a wine maker that doesn't drink wine - isn't it?
Then you got everyone and their mom with a seed company. You got to believe many of these companies simply grow out seeds from company X and sell them under some other name or stake it as their own. Most of what the prop 215 clubs in Cali offer up top shelf is mediocre and alright at best (quality wise) - insane what they charge for 1/8th (up to $100) and most of it so weak in its linage NO SUSTAINING POWER. Looks like a million bucks though.
Just because someone sells more seeds doesn't mean they're better quality. I was hoping we could learn of more on what companies really create and care about creating
quality product. Theirs got to be a small MOM and POP outfit that takes great pride in their work. That's what I'm looking for. Not Wal Mart. Then again the MOM and POP may not handle their business well and issues with receiving etc.
Anyone offer up any advice on quality: Mr Nice, D.J Short, etc..
