O.K. thanks for that, I just wanted to know why. Maybe if someone has a more explainatory answer they could let me know. Also if the more light it has, the more photosynthesis, why not have them on 24/0 during veg. I'm just inquisitive.I don't think it would differ much. All I know, is that people have been growing inside for years, and found that 12/12 is the best light cycle for flowering. Why would you want to give the plant less light? The more light, the more time it has to photosynthesis.
HiI would think that up to a point, the more light, the bigger the buds. The only problem is ... the plants flower at 12/12. Probably, and having never experimented with it, I would think that anything less than 12 hours of light would produce smaller buds. Has anyone here experimented with this? I know some Sativas require less than 12 hours of light during in order to finish at all.

Thanks for that, I had my first grow on 18/6 and was told by a friend to put them on 23/1, I don't know if it was just coincidence but I did notice faster growth.I read somewhere that the plant can only take in around 18 hrs of sunlight a day. anything more is just over kill. don't know if it is true, but sounds good.
I've been doing 14/12 for a few weeks. Have you ever tried this?I don't think it would differ much. i'm trying 7/10/1/6 right now.I've been doing 14/12 for a few weeks. Have you ever tried this?
Is that the "gaslighting" technique where you argue with the plants and blame them for the fight?i'm trying 7/10/1/6 right now.
