back in the day we would do it to save space had so much around it just packaged better most likely it breaks some trics but not enough for me to notice
weed coming from mexico is compressed after drying, else it would mold. They don't bother curing it properly, just dry and ship. The reason they do it is to be able to ship more of it in a smaller space than if they had left it uncompressed....
