why cant u have a 1 liter res

whats the smallest res you can have in a dwc grow why does it need to be so b ig can any1 tell me

has to be enough water for the main chamber.. So big rez less time filling it and refilling ...but not super sure faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr from knowing what i want to know on dwc

sorry man i mean resivour that contains the water your roots grow into i was wondering i got this container that is just a tiny bit bigger than my rootballs usually get i wondered how much more space you need around the roots for water my airstone will have roots grow around it too is this bad and if so why i cant see how it matters but im usually wrong i dont mind filling it up every few days
