why clones?

just need a space for propagation not necessarily a whole grow room. clones require a dimmer light (eg one flouro tube) and a covered tray to keep humidity in. direct cfl/hid lighting will dry them out

clones do not require vegging. There is a thread on here all about it and i think the author was Al. B fuct or something like that =D

I wouldnt put them into the flowering room until they have a suffiecent root system. usually takes 7-14 days.

I have a propagation tray with a humidome on it, under (1) 100 watt MH
and a seedling heatmat set to 80*. I keep the clones in this environment for about 2-3 weeks, or until roots are showing and new growth is evident. Then they go into 4x4 rockwool cubes. Then they veg under 800 watts of MH400 watt and HPS 400watt for about 7-8 weeks.
All the while I supercrop them creating multiple branches.
6 weeks at 18/6, one week at 16/8, and one more week at 14/10, then flip
to 12/12 and put into my flowering room under 1400 watts HPS. Seems to be a good formula.

is the 18/6 to 12/12 always a gradual transition clone or not?

clones in veg room for 8 weeks? You must cultivate HUGE plants!! Not sayin what your doing is wrong by any means though. =D
