why do you grow?

this is a thread im starting so people can express there opinion on why they grow.

well for me the reason i grow is because its the only thing that has actually felt right to me. i truely feel that i was put on the planet to help this plant reach the level of respect it needs to be at instead of a negative mark on society like the man has portrayed it. i grow even though its illegal where i live because i was born on this earth just like everybody else, so what gives some people the power to control. well you might think it has to be given but your wrong all you have to do is go to school to be a cop. just about anybody can make it but is it really right to give so much power to people when all they did was make a job choice just like the rest of us. that way some kid who was picked on in school can come kick my door down with his piggy buddies and treat me like the scum of the earth. well its just not right and the saddest thing is most of america with the exception of the cannabis community has its eyes closed to whats really happening, i actually went to jail a year ago for traffic warrents and got my nose broke, bruised tail bone, bruised ribs, busted lips, and lumps all over my head cause they felt the need to jump me with like 6 officers. there is a quote i really like and i know this isnt the right way to say it but its something along these lines "those who are the most enslaved are those who think there free"

If you think you are a "GROWER" you are probably wrong!.....I grow plant's and help them acheive what they were men't to be..no more..and enjoy the result's..I only give them what nature provide's (with a little help) in the amount's she can use water and watch....I do this for the sanity and grounding it give's and to make up for problem's I have to deal with in life! I do it to smile and feel good! I feel angry and it help's to relieve my stress. Also make's me less of an asshole!...jack

I grow because I find it relaxing. I have a pretty stressful job and I take about 30mins each night and sit in my grow room and just chill.

Growing is freedom. Free to grow what strain I want..when I want. No searching..getting a bag you know is short..but you're desperate. I get to smoke the best tops..and really cool things like hash or honey oil. I live in a paranoid rural area..all these people can fuck off! I do my own thing and keep it my business

Really we all grow for same reason's slight variation's but same shit...grow for the BUD!!

Tired of getting shorted or just getting "kush" even tho its not. Gou actually know what it is(for the most part unless bagseed). Price is vb on the rise by me and quality seems to be going down as fast as the price is going up. A nd lije everyone else said its relaxing.

Same here, I dont buy much but when I do I always ask the strain. The dealers always says, "its a Kush mix".

I grow cuz I enjoy it. Im not worried about saving money or anything.. I just have a green thumb and love the fact that in my own yard I can grow something that can improve ppls lives so much. Hell, it can stop the growth of cancer!

Because I don't want to deal with scumbag dealers.

It's fun, safer than dealing with other people, I'm not contributing to a cartel that destroys families with murder and extortion. Control of what I get. Did I mention it's fun?

yeah but if i wasnt the one in control of the seeds then yeah it would be natural but since im planting the seeds, im feedin them, and i decide when they r cut down, so then yes i would consider that growing them. but i also believe that they are growing us as well because it teaches me something new everytime so yeah thats like growing

thats what every grower says but in the end who's really stacks up. you cant put a personal perception on your product ill believe your the best when someone reputable tells me so

I do it for health reasons, the buzz is just a side benefit - really.
