why is it so hard to find a dealer?

i never really had to find a dealer before, i know people who know dealers but you know how that is? so how do you find a dealer? what do you say? i have tried strait up asking but people they always say no. and i know %85 just don't want to. so what do you say to people to make them trust you? i feel like everyone thinks im a cop or something, i don't know. i just want some bud man! i am really bad at talking to people for the first time, like really bad i never know what to say and they always use some slang term i have never heard, so i don't know how to respond. one time some kid wanted to buy weed off me and said he needed a "plat", wtf is a plat? like splat with out the S. to this day i don't know what he ment.

i never have to ask around really, my dealer has been my boy since the sandbox days and hes always good, but i have others lined up just incase. you say you know people who know dealers, so get them to hook you up. tell them call their dealer, give them ur number, and tell them to expect a call w/ said amount. if they are shady about that, pick up ur boy, tell him to grab some buds for you, go with him and have him introduce you to his dealer. swap numbers and bam. and dont bother people form dubs/20$, if hes legit hes not guna want to deal with you calling him everyday for a gram, get a half or more and make it a weekly pickup.

exactly how it is.

Is there a waterfront where you live? every city I have been to with one of those usually has dealers lurking about. they'll just say something like "nugs" or "bud". if your cool you will know how to handle it, they'll be able to tell if you're not.

EDIT: I suppose this is more for finding something in a strange city. If you want a local, regular connect maybe through a friend or even on here.

It really isn't hard at all.I can walk down the street and have 20 people shouting it at me.Or go to the chinese store and theres usually someone in there with whatever you need.

i used to have a problem with that. I mean, everyone smokes weed around here, but still. One time, back when I was a beginner, I tried to buy a ten off this guy I knew... sold me oregano. I was gonna flip on him, but he never came back to school. Then I started buying from my best friend, but that wasnt good weed or what I paid for. Then, my twin bro and I smoke with one of his best friends, from whom I find out sells weed. The first few times I went to him i was nervous, cause he's hella fine, and my sister was nervous too, so we had my bro call him up (but my bro lives in nevada), so that was awkward. His weed was hella good though, so i manned up, gave him my number, and now he delivers to the house, to me and my sister. yay! Never had any bad weed from him, always got a fat sack.

Its cause marijuana is illegal, ergo, alot of not good people will try and make money off of it. As for me i'm DONE with those "dealers". FUCK THEM. I'll have my own shit 1000% danker than theirs soon.

Ahmen to that my dude! Ahmen to that for sure..

my dealer also happens to be a lifelong friend of mine. We're like brothers.. even though we're both almost 30 years old now.. we still kick it from time to time and thats saying alot considering he had a kid here about 3 years ago.. yet he still makes time to hang out from time to time. He's one of the coolest people you'll ever meet too man.. just a really cool cat. I think the reason he and I get along with each other so well, is the fact that both of us had family members that.. eh, how do I say this, they were "connected" in some side businesses up in Jersey. Which is actually how he and I got to know one another. My grandfather and his father.. were both part of the same "family".. they both took the Omerta. My grandfather past away.. 4 years ago and his father is in Rikers Island up in NY. But yeah, that's how we both met really.. was through his father and my grandfather.

Dude's 29 years old and driving a BRAND new, well 2010.. 2010 Escalade.. and owns (meaning its paid for) a duplex (both sides) in the "richy" part of town. He lives in one side.. and rents the other side out.. which lets him basically live there for free.. while collecting $1,500.00/month rent from the people renting out the other side. He's got it made.. I'm working on some things currently that will help me out financially as well.

But yeah, hes absolutely one of the most down to earth, laid back people you'll ever meet man. If he can help you, he will.

He just knows how to do business.. he's got great business etiquette. Which I absolutely LOVE.. because my grandfather taught me the same thing. I guess that's why he and I get along so well.. because we were taught the same things.. and we both grew up around the whole 'mob' scene.

But yeah, the best thing to do is just ask all your "friends" if they know where to get any. I mean, I know your wanting to skip the middle man.. and get right to the dealer.. but some dealers don't do and won't do business with people that don't know.. which is why most people have to go through the middle man first.

this is a hard one. i understand your situtation, I was an avid smoker in high school and quit (because of a girl) well flash forward a few years and i have been sober for a while and not intensions of starting again. Well after my accedent i smoked at a party and saw first hand the healing powers so i decided to start smoking again.

I felt just like you, i knew how to get some every now and then but a steady supply was hard to source. I ended up meeting a chick through my brother in law but she was not steady...after about two months of that i met a guy through her roommate (yeah her roommate went somewhere else for bud) this guy was what i call a universal dealer...her had everything, although i only bought bud...well he got raided after selling a QP to a snitch and is currently doing life....through one of his clients i met my current dealer..remember when life shuts a door it opens a window

Hard situation OP, you don't party do you? That could be one of the easiest ways to score and make small connects. When dealing with people you don't know and an illegal substance such as weed people are bound to give you the cold shoulder especially if you don't know what a "plat" is or you give off that vibe. Nah I'm kidding on the plat thing even I don't know what that is(I'm pretty fluent in slang)...

Some people really gave some good tips to you already, like the small ganja related items, hitting up your friends again and asking to meet their supplier, so no middlemanning will be need with your friend. A weekly pickup was an excellent idea from whoever suggested it, it might even end up getting you a discount or bump if you continue, once you find the supply.

I personally have never had problems with getting anything, as most of my lifelong friends I've known since elementary would know where something is if I needed it. But there was a time where I kind of knew how you feel now, I moved to a new city when I was in HS and it was kind of hard to find bud or bud that wasn't horrible. Which is what got me into growing in the first place, but before my first harvest I did eventually find a classmate who got her bud from Ann Arbor. Supposedly homegrown, all I know it was killer. I felt like a kid in the candy store, took me forever to ask her out.

Just be open, and not so nervous. if they act like they don't know what you are talking about just chalk it up. Some type of social gathering would be your best bet imo, or your friends.

its not too hard, i will only sell my closer friends and family weed now adays but i have atleast 3 different people i can get from without leaving my back yard... and im not in a big city or anything. just alot of tokers lol
