Why is it that I like to be crossfaded but not high by itself?

When I get stoned without alcohol presented, I trip out hard. My mind goes all over the places and I just do not enjoy the high that way. But whenever I get buzzed first, and then blaze it, its like a different high, more mellow out, there is still some trippiness but manageable to the point where I'll enjoy it myself.

Lol I know this is probably weird but yeah that's me !

its called anxiety.
youre smoking strains that are producing yourself to become anxious usually stativa strains, however some people find indica strains to do that as well
it depends on the person.

when you drink alcohol it is a depressant and a sedative therefore your mind is not working the same way, so when you put yourself in an anxious position such as smoking or a large crowd your mind does not react to its anxiety flight or fight responses as alcohol has subdued the response

its not weird its very common,
i do not suggest using alcohol as stand point in order to smoke marijuana because alcohol is addictive and you can obviously become dependent on it.

if you grow grow strains that are higher in CBD lower in THC and on the indica strain side as to not create anxiety when smoked

in my day it was called ' Pissing in the wind'

where toking and boozing eventually resulted in wearing severe vomit

Boy do I have a vivid recollection of that shit! 1st time I smoked weed I threw up and thought this sucks! Then I eliminated the booze and lived happily ever after. Booze Kills, Weed Mellows!

The Freak Brothers comics include several catchphrases:

"Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope."—Freewheelin' Franklin.

"Don't get burned!" (usually aimed at Fat Freddy as he sets out to purchase dope)

"Smoking grass and drinking beer is like pissing into the wind."

"While you're out there smashing the state, don't forget to keep a smile on your lips and a song in your heart!"

What does the list represent?
I see cities and states but no mention of what the numbers mean

in my day it was called ' Pissing in the wind'

where toking and boozing eventually resulted in wearing severe vomit

or be talking to God on the big white telephone (toilet) ....lol
Hey Vostok, do you have standard Russian drinking abilities? For a couple of years I used to act as something of a tour guide for former Soviet apparatchiks sent to DC on USAID money. Holy mother of god could they drink! Not only did they bring their own vodka but they brought these cans of meat with them. The cans had about 15mm of lard on top that they would smear on bread between shots. Argh. Just argh. I very quickly learned to dump my vodka in the sink and replace it with water.

Come on Vostok... heavy Russian drinking is a myth? Uh, nope.

The first number is population. I do not know what the second number is but the third number is the first number divided by the second. Maybe average breathalyzer reading? That would make the third number the average drunkenness per capita. Or maybe the second number is "crack whores" making the third number the total number of rocks it would require to service the entire population.

Oh come on V... Those are population density figures. What are you trying to prove with those numbers?

“They're professionals at this in Russia, so no matter how many Jell-O shots or Jäger shooters you might have downed at college mixers, no matter how good a drinker you might think you are, don't forget that the Russians -- any Russian -- can drink you under the table.”
